Users can create new playlists, edit existing playlists (rearrange tracks, remove tracks, rename playlist), and add tracks to new or existing playlists.
These playlist changes are synchronized with the user's MOG account.398 votes
This is now in progress.
Hey guys – we’re building an entirely new Android app which will include playlist creation/editing functionality. I don’t have a timeline yet, but it’s scheduled for this year. Thanks so much for your patience – it’s gonna be great, and worth the wait.
I have an HTC Incredible, but don't want to have to use an SD card to store downloaded songs through MOG. I have 8GB's of flash memory built in that would be perfectly suited for this. Shouldn't be too hard to program, since the flash memory (at least for HTC phones) is under /emmc rather than /sdcard. It would be as simple as adding an option in the MOG app settings to specify the save file path of the songs so I could change it from /sdcard to /emmc.282 votes
Hey guys, while this will probably not make it into MOG’s Android app, it is under review for the new music service we are building now that we are owned by Beats By Dre, for which MOG will serve as a foundation. Thank you for your feedback.
show the player button on the unlock screen the screen that requires the user to slide not the screen that ask the user to input there security key. this will make it more simple to change the songs while driving instead of having to unlock it to change the song.274 votes
It is a superior operating system. Mog would fit into it better than any other systems, and Microsoft has the lowest take of $$$ for there third party apps/ subscriptions.
Take of the post by your own admin that declines the idea because of insufficient funds you don't sound like a very successful company that way.
Build it and they will come.272 votes
Whether thanks to recent changes in the operating system or not, a number of apps now support the ability to playback local files (e.g. Scrobbulous, Sharetunes, iScrob). This feature would be fantastic in the MOG app as it would make the listening experience that much more seamless on the iPhone. As it stands, I sometimes find myself going days without streaming from MOG solely because of this barrier between my local music and that which I've downloaded with the app.253 votes
Will disclose more when we get closer to release.
Make a Windows Phone app! I use Spotify at the moment and because I am a Telstra customer would switch to MOG straight away if WP app

Please improve the Android performance. Some songs will not load at all, even on high network quality or wifi. Making songs downloadable does not compensate for lack of mobile performance.
(for the record, I understand the application is in beta release, but performance should be the #1 priority on the application)225 votes
MOG is aware of these issues and has been working for the last 3 months on a revamp of underlying code. Improvements coming soon.
Similar to RDIO and Spotify, allow users to "send" songs from the website to their mobile app.
"Sending" a song would add it to the download queue. Phone would download the track next time MOG was available using whatever download quality setting was previously set.
Allows users to queue up music for their phone using the web interface.
Current workaround requires user to create a playlist, then wait for the server/mobile app sync, then download the playlist.193 votes
This will be added in the future.
You can sort of do this already by creating playlists.
Suggested in the feature suggestions support board....
I want the MOG app to be able to play any music files I have on my device.
Say just pick a folder on the phone to watch for files and have them listed in the MOG app so I can add them to the play queue or a playlist.189 votes
Would allow users to add local files to the queue and play them.
When we add playlisting, you’d also be able to add to playlists. Local tracks would either be matched to MOG tracks (where possible) or excluded from the playlist when synced.
Incorporate an alarm clock feature into the mog mobile app for android or iphone. I would love you FOREVER if I could wake up to my mog music!147 votes
Having the ability to browse by genre is a must have feature that needs to be implemented on the iOS app.139 votes
make a queue universal so that no matter what device you use, MOG remembers what's in it.136 votes
We’re looking into some interesting features here, but there are also plenty of people who want separate queues for separate devices.
Even if it's just fed in from Wikipedia, you can save me the trip to another app.
I'd like to be able to read about an artist or album as I listen; release dates, reviews, personnel, overviews, related artists, with links to more music. Anything to help inform my ears and guide them to the next thing. This would be particularly useful when approaching a new artist for the first time.128 votes
Release dates are planned, though it’s worth noting that data is inherently dicey. MOG receives it from the labels who generally treat ‘reissue date’ as release date.
MOG will be adding artist bios and photo, album reviews, and playlist details where available.
Similar Artists is also coming once MOG finds a data source of suitable quality.
Personnel is not available data.
Soundcloud and Shazam are great apps to discover music playing on radio or a friend's stereo. It would be great if you can work with these apps to launch MOG from these apps after discovering the music.114 votes
MOG has had preliminary discussions. Right now it’s a question of resources.
It would be really nice to have some kind of equalizer for the mobile app.101 votes
Gingerbread (2.3) supports a new audio stack which includes a decent equalizer (http://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/audiofx/Equalizer.html)
Support new Google Voice Actions and other voice controls (app already supports voice for text entry).
So users could say "Play Bob Dylan" and either Bob Dylan radio starts or all your Bob Dylan tracks play.100 votes
Currently the widget for the MOG application is unappealing to the eyes, along with being quite small for taking up so much space. Please improve how you see fit.92 votes
Update for new ios6 and iphone 5 to make use of the extra screen space please. Thanks91 votes
