When are you going to let us be able to change the directories where MOG APP for Android lets us store our Music. LIKE TO MY MICRO SD CARD

When are you going to let us be able to change the directories where MOG APP for Android lets us store our Music. With Samsungs Galaxy 4.0 & 5.0 Media players we only have 5 GB to work with with but We have the option of a 32GB Micro SD card. But we cant store our Music on the SD card the way the APP is presently.

Maybe in another year or five MOG will update their android app. Until then, Directory Bind is the only solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262

It's ugly, it's buggy, and it requires root access, but I have 25 GB of music on my SD card. Other people's ingenuity is keeping me a mog subrscriber. Otherwise, I would be gone already.

Oh and MOG, please open up the API so other people can do your work for you!

Yeah this Feature would make mog the complete package.

Not having this feature is a big deal. I left MOG a few months back because of multiple issues, but this one was near the top of my list of problems. I have tentatively reinstated my subscription because I missed the deep music library, but, not having the ability to save to my SD card may drive me to quit service again soon...

I suggest that you purchase a samsung galaxy s yes the old one i currently have almost 32 GB of MOG on this device, evidently newer phones handle this differently than my phone. The original galaxy s isn't up to par with new phones but as a portable music player it is still the best sounding android device available due to the version of Wolfson DAC chip used, all newer devices used a cheaper version.

Is $9.00 a month not enough for this basic feature?
Time to start a comment war on the Android review page

I sent an email to support before I saw this thread asking if I could save tracks to my SD card. My phone only has 1 gb ( !!!!! ) of memory, and most of that is always in use. I was told, "We are working on it, however, there is no specific timeframe."

So I am *hoping* "we are working on it" means it's actually being designed or developed.

exactly its been bullshit from the beginning, planned march 28 2013. I posted the original post and plan to follow up with a complaint website against MOG on Facebook.

I moved from Rhapsody to MOG because the streaming bitrate is higher. Then I discover that MOG doesn't allow me to save stuff to my 64GB external SD card like the Rhapsody mobile app did. Guess it's back to reduced bit rate on Rhapsody for me. At least I can carry a lot of offline music around with me on Rhapsody.

Yes this would be a nice feature since my internal card is full of music my skyrocket has ruffly 9 gigs of usefull storage the other6 is divided up amongst other apps. And my 32 gig card is sitting there doing nada.

Any way to get an update on this? It's been months since it's been "planned".

We need SD support. I currently have to delete songs I've downloaded into my collection, to make room for new music. I live MOG, but I can't put up with this for much longer.

      • SJSJ commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

yeah its kinda bullshit since i asked about this 7 mths ago and its was planned 5 mths ago and still has not happened ugh :(.......

      • ReneRene commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

its nice to see that the issue of moving music to the micro sd cards is planned....I've been unhappy since I joined MOG...I love this app, the only thing wrong is the issue of where the music goes when you download.....please make this happen.....soon!!!!!!!!!!

      • SJSJ commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

so you post may 23 its planned so when is it planned after i leave here?

My Samsung Galaxy S Blaze only has 1.4GB internal storage for user data. That means the phone has room for only about one dozen 320kbps albums. That is not acceptable. This feature should be a top priority because it affects whether MOG mobile service is a practical option for many users.

This App is not perfect but it is still the best IMO. If this fix is implemented it will be that much better. As it is right now all I can really do is stream. 32gb sdcard gathering dust.
