Import data from other music services
Develop system to import data (favorites/library, playlists, ratings, etc.) from other music services such as Rhapsody, Spotify, Napster, etc.
[was: Favorites Importing]
I'd consider MOG if you had a means for importing my extensive "cloud" library from Rhapsody streaming service to yours (Hint: Rhapsody's standalone player uses a simple SQLite table that could be readily imported)

I'm another Spotify user that would switch if I could just take my playlist with me.

I would move over in a heartbeat if I could do this...

Is this still under review? The lack of something like Spotify's playlist cut-and-paste is just about the only thing keeping me from making the switch to Mog...

*Please add this as a feature*.
It's sure to increase the amount of new customers coming from non streaming backgrounds and customers transferring from other streaming providers. -

I would also switch from Spotify to Mog in a heartbeat if I could easily import the playlists I've been working so hard on.
Also, one of the reasons that I am looking for alternatives to Spotify is that they don't seem to care AT ALL what the people want. Show me that you do!
Hugs,
A possible new customer -

I'm canceling my subscription (free trial) because I can't use the playlists I've spend 6 months setting up on Spotify.

Same here. I'd like to transfer my (hundreds to thousands of songs) playlists.

i see this post is very old, i found this by looking for a way to transfer from spotify to mog. I love spotify but its desktop and android app are pretty terrible compared to mog. Get me a way to transfer my playlist before spotify upgrades their applications and I will send my 10$ a month your way instead.

I just moved from spotify and rdio to finally settle down with mog. This feature will really help as I do not want to create all my playlists manually!
You could also consider throwing grooveshark in the mix.

I've had Spotify for a while now and am not real pleased with Playlist management - can't alphabetize for example. I'd like to try MOG out, but am reluctant without being able to import my playlists from Spotify. If that feature were available I'd be much more enthusiastic

Yes! I keep reading about how awesome MOG, but I just can't take the dive knowing that I'd need to manually recreate my Spotify playlists in MOG. An easy, non time-consuming way to transfer the playlists over would have me using MOG immediately.

Yea, I just signed up for MOG and now am facing the tedious undertaking of manually searching for music to recreate my music library.
